According to Page Six, the actress believes her ex-husband should take a break from dating after the end of his marriage to Jennifer Lopez. This view is reportedly supported by a source close to the star, who explained how Garner sees Affleck as particularly at peace at this stage of his life: “Jen thinks it might be a good idea for Ben to take a break from relationships for a while. She cares deeply for him and only wants the best for him,” the insider said.
The same source added: “ From her perspective, he’s happier than he’s been in a long time, and it might be healthy for him to continue focusing his energy on himself, his work, and his family instead of jumping right into a new relationship.” However, Jennifer Garner isn’t trying to influence her ex-husband’s decisions. According to the rumors, the actress “trusts him and his decisions and will support him whatever he chooses to do.”
Not everyone, however, seems convinced that Affleck plans to stay single for long. Another source cited by Page Six claims that the actor hasn’t ruled out the possibility of dating again in the future: “He isn’t closing the door on dating and would be open to the idea of getting back into the game. He has friends who have offered to introduce him to new people, but right now he’s very busy and isn’t sure he has the time for a serious relationship.”
